Terms of Use
Effective 29 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Cruxle, the daily word-block puzzle game made by Gurpinderjeet Singh ("we", "us"). By using Cruxle you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
The game
Cruxle gives you new puzzles every day, optional ranked weekends, missions, and cosmetic items. We may add, change or remove features and puzzles over time.
Accounts
You can play without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Usernames and fair play
Usernames are shown publicly on leaderboards. Don't choose a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone, or infringes anyone's rights. Don't cheat, use automated tools, exploit bugs, or interfere with the game or other players. We may change a username, remove results, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Stars and virtual items
Stars are an in-game currency you earn by playing. Stars and the cosmetic items and entries you spend them on:
- have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money;
- can't be sold or transferred to anyone else;
- are a limited licence to use in the game, not property you own.
We may adjust how stars are earned, priced or awarded to keep the game balanced. Stars can't be bought with real money.
Ranked weekends
Ranked weekends are optional competitions entered with stars. A weekend runs only if enough players enter; if it doesn't, entries are refunded in stars. Prizes are stars only — never money or real-world goods. Rules, payouts and timing are shown in the app and may change from weekend to weekend. We may void results affected by cheating or technical faults.
Cruxle Pro
Cruxle Pro unlocks extra content, such as the Impossible puzzle and the full puzzle archive. It's offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- To cancel or manage a subscription, use your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- You can restore purchases on a new device from the paywall or Settings.
If you downloaded Cruxle from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms conflict with it, the Apple agreement governs your use of the app from the App Store.
Our content
The game, its puzzles, design, artwork and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Cruxle for your own entertainment. Don't copy, sell or redistribute the puzzles or the app.
Availability
We work to keep Cruxle running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may pause or end the service; if we end Cruxle Pro, we'll do what the stores and the law require for existing subscribers.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, that can't be excluded. To the extent the law allows, Cruxle is provided "as is", and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Where our liability can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the service or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Cruxle means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
